Five separate episodes were shot in an outdoor kitchen that was setup at Hedgeview Organic Farm, just east of the City of Pembroke right in LV.

You need to visit this amazing restaurant located along the river’s edge. (The Axe & Paddle as a restaurant is now unfortunately closed, but Steve Berry still operates for catering services.)
Features Elissa Kozakevich as she grills up very tasty bison steaks topped with a delicious blueberry source, yes, blueberries are great on bison! You have to try fresh local food, frozen dinners, takeout and catering in Petawawa and now with a second location in downtown Pembroke, Ontario.
For over a decade, Taste of the Valley events have become increasingly popular for both residents and visitors to Renfrew County. The original concept for the Taste of the Valley was to promote and support local food producers in the Ottawa Valley. Over the years the events have evolved to encourage an expanded focus on the notion of “taste” with the celebration of local food, products, art and culture.
