Environment Canada has issued a heat warning for all of Renfrew County and District. A significant heat event with dangerously hot and humid conditions will begin Sunday afternoon and is expected to continue until at least Tuesday. MUNICIPAL WATER USE RESTRICTIONS

The Township of Laurentian Valley’s Water Restriction Bylaw takes effect May 15th and lasts through September 15, 2025, for users of the Municipal Water System.
Watering lawns and gardens is allowed only between the hours of 6:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. and 6:00 P.M. to 10:00 P.M.

  • Residents occupying an EVEN numbered address may water on EVEN numbered calendar days only (e.g. 2, 4, 6).
  • Residents occupying an ODD numbered address may water on ODD numbered calendar days only (e.g. 1, 3, 5).

The Township of Laurentian Valley has officially undertaken its second sitting of the 2025 budget deliberations and would like to communicate with the public the draft budget which will now be open for comments, with a final public meeting on Tuesday December 3rd.
